Graduate student Lucy LeBlanc received a fellowship from the National Science Foundation, which provides funding for a stipend and tuition for 3 full years. The application is nationwide and highly competitive, typically granting funding to only 10-15% of applicants. Her winning proposal seeks to address global changes in gene expression in stem cells as a function of cell seeding density.
